Assistant to the Treasurer
Jakob Webster is currently a junior at SUNY Polytechnic Institute, where he is pursuing a dual bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Administration. Originally from New Hartford, New York, he has dedicated two years to student advocacy as a Freshman Senator and as Senate Chair of the Student Government at Utica. Previously, he has worked on his campus as an Orientation Leader, a Tutor in Accounting and Business, and President of SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s Rotaract Club. He is also involved in a number of different clubs, including Political Science Club, Student Veterans Club, Stock Market Analysis Club, and the Alumni Student Network. He first began his work for SUNY Student Assembly as Chair of Military Affairs Committee, dedicated to representing the voices of the military community.
This year, he will be working alongside Michael Braun as the Assistant to the Treasurer, while continuing his mission to preserve the financial responsibility of SUNY SA, in using funds to effectively advocate for SUNY’s 600,000 students.
