Assistant to the Chief of Staff
Dylan Marshall is a second-year student at SUNY Finger Lakes Community College. He is currently pursuing an associate’s degree in Communications and is expected to graduate in December of 2017. Dylan intends on furthering his academic career by studying linguistics and minoring in foreign languages at the University at Albany. He is strongly interested and passionate about subjects involving philosophy, communication, and government and takes pride in his involvement both on campus and in his community.
Dylan had been an advocate for college affordability with New York’s 23rd Congressional District’s representative among other students in panel discussions. At Finger Lakes Community College, he is currently the Vice President of Student Corporation (SGA). In the Spring of 2017, he has served as Vice Chair of the Student Senate.
He is now currently serving as a voting member of the FLCC Association Board of Directors, FLCC Academic Senate Board, Student Corporation Executive Committee Board of Directors, Election Committee as Chair the Ex-officio member of Student Senate, CAB and AALANA which is the Diversity group on campus and served on the Search Committee for Director of Community Standards and Counseling. Dylan is excited to be involved in the Student Assembly vision and is looking forward to representing his constituency and continuing to advocate for students.
